Music for Little Mozarts (4 - 6 year olds)
Age Range: 4 – 6 years old
Class Length: 30 minute class
Session Length: Held once a week with scheduled holidays off (see calendar at bottom of page)
Class Graduation:
Upon graduation of Little Mozarts, students will be considered for Show Piano™ group classes, private lessons and/or competition teams.
Class Description:
•Music for Little Mozarts is broken into 10 Week Courses with a total of a 3-year program.
•Students begin with pre-reading activities and will be fluent note readers by the end of the program.
•Students will use Letter Names (A,B,Cs) for note reading, but will also be introduced to solfege (Do,Re,Mi) for singing activities.
•If a student is not ready to perform at our annual recital, please attend the recital with them in the audience so they may watch and be more comfortable for the next performing opportunity. Students will perform often for their classmates and their parents.
•After they have completed the Music for Little Mozarts series, your class will move into our older student curriculum.
Students who are progressing well will be invited, by our Director, to join our Show Piano™ Competition Team. They will then be added to our weekly Show Piano™ Team class at this point. Belonging to our Show Piano™ Team is an honor as it is *by invitation only*.
Our Competition Team enjoys progressively more challenging and rewarding songs along with all the excitement of competition.
Music Classes (beginner - intermediate)
Students enjoy the process of learning in a group and being able to interact with their peers during the learning process. We concentrate on all aspects of piano and music, including playing together in duets, trios etc.
Private lessons are available and scheduled by our Director only.
