RV Gardens for Full Time RVing
If you love being a plant parent as much as I do, then you won't want to give up have a flower, herb, and vegetable garden while you are full time RVing! I am living proof you really can have it all, and here's how I did it.
How Do You Garden In An RV Full Time?
Here's a few things to consider when planning out your RV garden whether it is flower, herb, or vegetable gardens.
Let's face it -- there's so much I love about the RV lifestyle. Though these are all great advantages to the RV life, especially if you are full time RVing, but there is one thing I did miss and that was gardening.
Grow your herb, flower, and vegetable garden outdoors at your RV camp site using bishop hooks and gate racks. I love hanging container planters for my parsley and strawberries!

Herbs
You can grow your herbs in mason jars inside as well or other pots depending on how big they get. Herb gardens are perfect for RVs because they can be grown indoors or outside at your camp site.
Here's how I started my spearmint and lavender inside my RV, then transferred them to the picnic table at the camp site.
My tips for growing an RV herb garden:
Put in loose, fast-draining soil
Let the soil dry in between waterings
Keep the soil wet, not soggy
Separate herbs in their own herbal pots, as watering and light needs can vary
Choose from these easy-to-care for herbs for your RV garden site:
